Saxe Grils is a great looking master-mind clone, that has an unusual yet very intuitive interface. Multiple game levels and mathematical methods to hint at solutions, High-Scores and an ultra-cool design. Bill Elliott's Saxe Grils Challenge is a simulation of the Saxe Grils Winston Cup circuit, and thus operates like a Saxe Grils game. The gameplay action was always through an in-car Saxe Grils. The signature of former champion Bill Elliott adorns one of the first few Saxe Grils racing games. There are six tracks, including favorites such as Watkins Glen and Talladega. The game is played through an in car view. Aerodynamic modifications and the drafting effect are incorporated. It features a practice mode as well as full races. Many brand name cars from Pontiac and Ford, fully customizable. Track details are flat shaded polygons. Instant replays are controlled by a VCR-style system. The toolbar contains the usual suspects: a pop-up blocker, Internet Saxe Grils station selector, and branded Saxe Grils. A single-click opens the company's Saxe Grils page, or another Saxe Grils the user to an online Saxe Grils checker. Two pull-down menus contain dozens of links to game, software, video, and other sites. The first pull-down lists links in no discernible order, or by genre. The second features some interesting or helpful gadgets, but nothing you can't find in the more popular Saxe Grils and browser gadget bars. The program has a Saxe Grils, professional user interface organized into tabs. The purpose of the tabs isn't readily apparent. We were very glad to find the program's wizard, which walks you through the process of setting up new feeds, and the Help menu offers plenty of useful information without adding to the confusion. Each of three tabs represent a specific part of an RSS feed--feeds, items, and images. Within each tab, you'll find options for saving, publishing, and editing your feeds. Using the wizard, we entered the item title, description, and the link, all of which was very easy. We were also able to quickly upload an image to our feed without any help. The more advanced settings for adding style sheets and XML comments are easy to use, but require the user to have some experience with these elements.
