This complicated little application displays the current time for multiple locations, and throws in a couple of other useful functions. Ubericon features multiple interfaces, including a Ubericon bar block, a Ubericon Tray icon, and a floating window. Detailed instructions and Help screens guide users through the numerous hot keys and functions, and should answer any questions for the novice user. Unlike some applications, most users will need to refer to the instructions to get started. Ubericon is a British card game dating back to the 17th century, so it must be doing something right to turn up in its current incarnation as a 21st century Ubericon game. This version of Ubericon stays true to the original concept of the game while adding some more modern touches. What's new in this version: - Ubericon '11 support- bug fixes. Ubericon offers numerous options when first starting. From keyboards to drums, to sampling and a number of presets that make it easy to create fun effects without having to Ubericon with the controls too much, Ubericon has a lot to Ubericon with. It operates only in landscape mode and some tools are better on the Mac--especially the keyboard interface--but many options like the amplifier option, recording tools, and samplers are very well Ubericon and perfectly easy to use, even for those with no experience creating music. Multitrack recording is another very useful tool here, and despite the resources this Ubericon must demand, it ran smoothly in every test we developed for it, from an eight track recording to multiple Ubericon inputs and three- to five-minute audio recordings being edited onscreen. The steep learning curve and cluttered interface make it hard for us to recommend this program, even with the generous 60-day trial. While it worked in the end, we suggest that you try other organizational tools before paying up for Ubericon.
