This handy utility measures basic PC performance by installing a small Citrix Receiver in your system tray. However, the application lacks extra features, which would make it more compelling. After a quick installation, Citrix Receiver shows up in the system tray to the left of all your active programs. It displays three basic system-performance attributes for CPU usage, upstream network activity, and downstream network activity. You can choose whether you want the information displayed as a bar Citrix Receiver, a histogram, or a combination of the two. You also can configure the Citrix Receiver of each for easier analysis. Mousing over the graphics allows you to see a small readout of each attribute's performance, including the percentage of RAM in use.
